Active tasks

Work in numbered order. Drag a task by its numbered grip to reorder it or move it to another cell.

Tap a cell to open its active tasks. The three dots show how many of its slots are occupied.

Favor

Select a cell to view, or + to add a new task, or Q to view queued tasks.

To-Do View

Work across Matrix tasks and Lists without changing where the underlying item lives.

To-Do combines Matrix work with optional List pages in one execution view. Cell 0:0 Lists appear first and cell 4:4 Lists appear after Matrix tasks. Use Filter for an independent cross-module filter; Include Notes exposes checklist/detail text inline.

No items match the current To-Do View options.

Application options

Settings

Application, account, device, reminder, backup, sharing, and Matrix preferences.

Adjust text size

Small changes are saved separately for large and small screens and included in backups.

Tag definitions

Define the characters you use for projects, people, status, labels, places, or your own categories.

Custom priority pattern

Place priorities 2–8 anywhere between fixed cell 1 at High/Now and cell 9 at Low/Later. The pattern also controls To-Do View priority.

Reminder delivery

A scheduled date and time sends nothing by itself unless a task reminder is selected. Reminder processing runs at an administrator-selected 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minute clock interval. Each reminder is assigned to the boundary on or before its requested time, so delivery may be early rather than late.

Fields included in reminder output
Daily Digest

The Daily Digest is one email each day listing scheduled items due inside the selected window. It summarizes due dates and times for Matrix tasks and Lists; it is separate from the individual reminder lead times selected on each scheduled item.

The Notes choice is shared with individual reminder output.

When From and Through are the same, the digest covers the next 24 hours. A later Through time creates a same-day window; an earlier Through time creates an overnight window. Date-only scheduled items are included in the digest for their due date.

Items included in the digest do not receive their individually selected reminders. Items outside the digest window still do.

Items included in the digest still receive their individually selected reminders.

Time zone

Task times are stored in UTC and displayed in the local time zone of each device. This account time zone is used when formatting reminder email or log output.

Grid orientation

Choose which dimension runs down the rows. FAVOR or Custom still controls priority and To-Do View order.

Grid preference scope

Choose whether Grid orientation, FAVOR, and the custom priority pattern apply only here or follow your account on participating devices.

Review, restore, or permanently delete completed, skipped, and cancelled tasks.
